Emergency Management conducts All-Hazards planning with First Responders in The City of Sedalia. A core group of 25 Storm Spotters relay information to the Emergency Operations Center allowing us to provide life-saving information about severe weather.

The Sedalia Fire Department is dedicated to the protection of the residents and businesses of Sedalia and to those who visit our beautiful city.  The Department protects the 18.7 square miles of Sedalia from its Central Station on South Hancock Avenue and from its Headquarters Station across from the State Fairgrounds on West 16th Street.

The Pettis County Ambulance District began medical services in the Pettis County area in October 2013, bringing efficient delivery of high-quality emergency medical care to all residents in an approximately 700-square-mile area. With more than 30 paramedical and emergency medical technicians and a fleet of six ambulances, PCAD is committed to professional and compassionate care while providing excellence in service.
