The City of Sedalia has activated the EMERGENCY SNOW ROUTES beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 18, 2019 as the National Weather Service has reported the potential for steadily falling temperatures with rain beginning late Friday afternoon, changing over to snow with accumulations from 1-3 inches overnight. Please click here to view the January 18, 2019 public service announcement issued by the City of Sedalia.

Drivers who routinely park on streets designated as Emergency Snow Routes will need to move their vehicles to other locations as snow is expected to accumulate during nighttime hours. City crews will be working overnight Friday to ensure Emergency Snow Routes remain open. Cars remaining parked on emergency snow routes may be towed or plowed in as crews work to keep these roadways open for emergency vehicles.

Please note that the December 28, 2015 City Council Informational Tour of the Sedalia Public Library has been postponed until further notice due to inclement weather.  

City Council Informational Tour

On Monday, December 28, 2015, the City Council will have an informational tour of the Sedalia Public Library located at 311 W. 3rd Street, beginning the tour at 6:00 p.m. at the Library. No actions will be taken by the City Council during this tour.
