The City of Sedalia has activated the EMERGENCY SNOW ROUTES beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 18, 2019 as the National Weather Service has reported the potential for steadily falling temperatures with rain beginning late Friday afternoon, changing over to snow with accumulations from 1-3 inches overnight. Please click here to view the January 18, 2019 public service announcement issued by the City of Sedalia.

Drivers who routinely park on streets designated as Emergency Snow Routes will need to move their vehicles to other locations as snow is expected to accumulate during nighttime hours. City crews will be working overnight Friday to ensure Emergency Snow Routes remain open. Cars remaining parked on emergency snow routes may be towed or plowed in as crews work to keep these roadways open for emergency vehicles.

2/29/2016 - Street Closures Scheduled Beginning February 29, 2016

Several Sedalia area roadways will be closed for street repair or sewer construction starting Monday, February 29, 2016:

MoDOT - Route 50 pavement repair from Curry Drive to Muddy Creek, east and west bound one lane closures, February 29 - March 4, 2016.

MoDOT - Route 65 pavement repair from Eagleview Drive to Liberty Park Boulevard, north and south one lane closures, February 29 - March 4, 2016.

City of Sedalia - North Ohio Avenue from North Broadway to Johnson Street, complete street closure for sewer repairs, starting February 29. Estimated completion time is 14 days. Detour signs will redirect traffic.
