EMERGENCY SNOW ROUTES ACTIVATED

The City of Sedalia has activated the EMERGENCY SNOW ROUTES beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 18, 2019 as the National Weather Service has reported the potential for steadily falling temperatures with rain beginning late Friday afternoon, changing over to snow with accumulations from 1-3 inches overnight. Please click here to view the January 18, 2019 public service announcement issued by the City of Sedalia.

Drivers who routinely park on streets designated as Emergency Snow Routes will need to move their vehicles to other locations as snow is expected to accumulate during nighttime hours. City crews will be working overnight Friday to ensure Emergency Snow Routes remain open. Cars remaining parked on emergency snow routes may be towed or plowed in as crews work to keep these roadways open for emergency vehicles.

Mayor Attends Ribbon Cutting at new Woods Supermarket

(SEDALIA, MISSOURI) : Mayor Bob Wasson joined members of the Chamber of Commerce and store staff at a Ribbon Cutting at the new Woods Supermarket located at 701 E. Broadway Boulevard in Sedalia.  The new store, approximately 10,000 square feet larger than the former Woods location, officially opened for business on Monday, June 23.
