The City of Sedalia has activated the EMERGENCY SNOW ROUTES beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 18, 2019 as the National Weather Service has reported the potential for steadily falling temperatures with rain beginning late Friday afternoon, changing over to snow with accumulations from 1-3 inches overnight. Please click here to view the January 18, 2019 public service announcement issued by the City of Sedalia.

Drivers who routinely park on streets designated as Emergency Snow Routes will need to move their vehicles to other locations as snow is expected to accumulate during nighttime hours. City crews will be working overnight Friday to ensure Emergency Snow Routes remain open. Cars remaining parked on emergency snow routes may be towed or plowed in as crews work to keep these roadways open for emergency vehicles.

1/5/2009 - City issues RFQ for Municipal Building Improvements

(SEDALIA, MISSOURI) : The City of Sedalia is seeking formal qualifications to provide plan preparation, specifications and construction administration for Phase I Improvements to the Municipal Building. The project will include work space improvements and furnishings for the detective division of the Police Department, Mayor’s conference room and the Assistant to the Mayor’s reception and work area. This is Phase I of a multi-phase project.

Proposals will be accepted until 3:00 p.m. January 30, 2009. All firms interested in submitting a proposal for the project should contact John Simmons, community Development Director at 660-827-3000, ext. 127.

The City of Sedalia retains the right to reject and all proposals submitted and to waive any informality contained in any proposal. The City of Sedalia reserves the right to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the City.
