The City of Sedalia has activated the EMERGENCY SNOW ROUTES beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 18, 2019 as the National Weather Service has reported the potential for steadily falling temperatures with rain beginning late Friday afternoon, changing over to snow with accumulations from 1-3 inches overnight. Please click here to view the January 18, 2019 public service announcement issued by the City of Sedalia.

Drivers who routinely park on streets designated as Emergency Snow Routes will need to move their vehicles to other locations as snow is expected to accumulate during nighttime hours. City crews will be working overnight Friday to ensure Emergency Snow Routes remain open. Cars remaining parked on emergency snow routes may be towed or plowed in as crews work to keep these roadways open for emergency vehicles.

10/16/2018 - City Council Tour - Review of Council Chambers Renovation Design

The Mayor and members of City Council will tour the site of the new Police Department Headquarters located at 300 W. 3rd Street, Sedalia, Missouri starting at approximately 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 16, 2018.

Shortly after the tour, the Mayor and City Council will review the design of the Council Chambers renovation. This review will be held in the Council Chambers within the Municipal Building, 200 S. Osage, Sedalia, Missouri.
