The City of Sedalia has activated the EMERGENCY SNOW ROUTES beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 18, 2019 as the National Weather Service has reported the potential for steadily falling temperatures with rain beginning late Friday afternoon, changing over to snow with accumulations from 1-3 inches overnight. Please click here to view the January 18, 2019 public service announcement issued by the City of Sedalia.

Drivers who routinely park on streets designated as Emergency Snow Routes will need to move their vehicles to other locations as snow is expected to accumulate during nighttime hours. City crews will be working overnight Friday to ensure Emergency Snow Routes remain open. Cars remaining parked on emergency snow routes may be towed or plowed in as crews work to keep these roadways open for emergency vehicles.

City of Sedalia's Yard Waste Drop-Off Site
Prepares for Storm Related Tree Debris

(SEDALIA, MISSOURI): In anticipation of increased yard waste/tree debris related to the recent storm, the City of Sedalia Yard Waste Facility at 28th and New York will open early on Saturday, August 20, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and will also be open on Monday, August 22, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The facility will then resume its normal schedule on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 (normal schedule listed below):

Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; closed Sundays and Mondays
