12/7/2018 - City of Sedalia Receives $10.09 Million Grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation
Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler  (MO-04) and Senator Roy Blunt (MO) announced today that the City of Sedalia has been awarded a $10.09 million grant by the U.S. Department of Transportation. This grant funding will be used to extend existing railroad tracks to the new Sedalia Rail Industrial Park.

The City wishes to thank Congresswoman Hartzler and Senator Blunt for their support. Also, we are thankful for the great working relationship with the Sedalia-Pettis County Economic Development and Pettis County that facilitated the collaborative effort in writing this grant application. Likewise, we thank Brenda Ardrey, our Public Works Director, for taking the lead for the City on this project.
