EMERGENCY SNOW ROUTES ACTIVATED

The City of Sedalia has activated the EMERGENCY SNOW ROUTES beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 18, 2019 as the National Weather Service has reported the potential for steadily falling temperatures with rain beginning late Friday afternoon, changing over to snow with accumulations from 1-3 inches overnight. Please click here to view the January 18, 2019 public service announcement issued by the City of Sedalia.

Drivers who routinely park on streets designated as Emergency Snow Routes will need to move their vehicles to other locations as snow is expected to accumulate during nighttime hours. City crews will be working overnight Friday to ensure Emergency Snow Routes remain open. Cars remaining parked on emergency snow routes may be towed or plowed in as crews work to keep these roadways open for emergency vehicles.

 Washington Street Bridge Scheduled for Repairs 

(Sedalia, Missouri): The Washington Street Bridge, located at Main and Washington, will be closed for repairs beginning Tuesday, November 1 through Friday, November 4, 2011 from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The bridge will be open for the weekend of November 5 and 6, 2011. 

 

Washington Street Bridge repairs will resume on Monday, November 7 through Tuesday, November 8, 2011 from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. both days. 

 

No through traffic will be allowed on the bridge during these repairs.
