The City of Sedalia has activated the EMERGENCY SNOW ROUTES beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 18, 2019 as the National Weather Service has reported the potential for steadily falling temperatures with rain beginning late Friday afternoon, changing over to snow with accumulations from 1-3 inches overnight. Please click here to view the January 18, 2019 public service announcement issued by the City of Sedalia.

Drivers who routinely park on streets designated as Emergency Snow Routes will need to move their vehicles to other locations as snow is expected to accumulate during nighttime hours. City crews will be working overnight Friday to ensure Emergency Snow Routes remain open. Cars remaining parked on emergency snow routes may be towed or plowed in as crews work to keep these roadways open for emergency vehicles.

Friday, April 13 Railroad Crossing Repair Cancelled  
Rescheduled to Monday, April 16, 2012 

(Sedalia, Missouri): The emergency track repair previously scheduled for today, April 13, requiring the southbound lane of the Ohio Avenue railroad crossing to be blocked from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. has been rescheduled to Monday, April 16.

On Monday, April 16, beginning at 8:30 a.m., Ohio Avenue from Pettis to Main Street will be closed for emergency track repair at the Ohio Avenue Railroad Crossing. This area will reopen to traffic once repairs are completed.
