The City of Sedalia has lifted the boil water advisory issued on Jun. 17, 2020 for the Hunter’s Ridge Subdivision. The boil water advisory was issued to begin on Wednesday afternoon, Jun. 17, 2020 after water service was restored following repairs to the water main serving the subdivision.
During the boil water advisory, the City’s Water Division performed a series of tests to determine that the water continued to meet regulatory drinking water standards. Samples were taken from sites in the affected area and tests have confirmed that the water meets state and federal requirements. Water quality tests have confirmed the water continues to meet all U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and Safe Drinking Water Act standards and regulations. It is no longer necessary to boil your water.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we worked to repair the water main to ensure the continued quality and safety of drinking water in our community.
If at any time you should have questions about your drinking water, please feel free to contact the Water Division at (660) 826-1234 Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., the Public Works Department at (660) 827-3000 ext. 1166 Monday - Friday 8:30 to 5:00 p.m. or after hours or on weekends at (660) 826-1236.
