The City of Sedalia has activated the EMERGENCY SNOW ROUTES beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 18, 2019 as the National Weather Service has reported the potential for steadily falling temperatures with rain beginning late Friday afternoon, changing over to snow with accumulations from 1-3 inches overnight. Please click here to view the January 18, 2019 public service announcement issued by the City of Sedalia.

Drivers who routinely park on streets designated as Emergency Snow Routes will need to move their vehicles to other locations as snow is expected to accumulate during nighttime hours. City crews will be working overnight Friday to ensure Emergency Snow Routes remain open. Cars remaining parked on emergency snow routes may be towed or plowed in as crews work to keep these roadways open for emergency vehicles.

Wednesday, July 18 and Thursday, July 19, 2012

(Sedalia, Missouri): East 3rd Street will be closed on the following days and corresponding areas for chip and seal from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day, weather permitting. These areas will be closed to through traffic during repair.

Wednesday, July 18:     E. 3rd Street from S. Ohio Avenue to Mill Street

Thursday, July 19:        E. 3rd Street from Mill Street to S. Engineer Avenue
