Sedalia Pettis County (EMA)

Emergency Management conducts All-Hazards planning with First Responders in The City of Sedalia. A core group of 25 Storm Spotters relay information to the Emergency Operations Center allowing us to provide life-saving information about severe weather. Visit pettiscomo.com for more information.

Sedalia Fire Department

The Sedalia Fire Department is dedicated to the protection of the residents and businesses of Sedalia and to those who visit our beautiful city. The Department protects the 18.7 square miles of Sedalia from its Central Station on South Hancock Avenue and from its Headquarters Station across from the State Fairgrounds on West 16th Street.

Sedalia Animal Shelter

The Sedalia Animal Shelter is dedicated to caring for homeless pets in our community through adoptions, cruelty investigations, community awareness, and caring for companion animals until loving homes can be found. All pets are examined by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Fees for adoption include initial vaccinations, spay/neuter, and microchip.

Pettis County Ambulance District

The Pettis County Ambulance District began medical services in the Pettis County area in October 2013. They deliver high-quality emergency medical care to all residents in roughly a 700-square-mile area. PCAD currently operates a fleet of six ambulances with more than 30 paramedical and emergency medical technicians (EMTs). PCAD is committed to professional and compassionate care while providing excellent service.

Bothwell Regional Health Center

Bothwell Regional Health Center (BRHC) has served west-central Missouri since 1930. Their mission is 'working together to provide exceptional health care and wellness services. BRHC staff numbers greater than 900 personnel, with 100 physicians. BRHC provides a full range of diagnostic, medical, and surgical services to included cancer care and emergency services.
